Welcome to the first edition of [i3] Insights.
In an effort to extend the educational programs of the Investment Innovation Institute [i3], we are excited to announce the launch of a new publication, [i3] Insights, which will consist of a dedicated website (www.i3-invest.com/insights) and a monthly email for subscribers.
The focus of this publication is on the dissemination of ideas relating to investment strategies, implementation and governance. It is our aim to enhance the educational experience by exposing investors to the different approaches used worldwide and, hopefully, spark informed debates between practitioners.
Content for the site is produced by [i3]’s new Director of Content, Wouter Klijn. He is the Founder and former Editor of The Insto Report, a news website that covers the institutional investment industry in Australia.
Already, the website features interviews with Tomas Franzén, Chief Investment Strategist at the Swedish pension fund AP2, Professor Andrew Ang, who recently joined BlackRock, and Bob Maynard, Chief Investment Officer at the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho.
Drawing on last month’s Portfolio Construction Masterclass in Fiji, you can also find profiles and interviews with a number of pension funds from the Pacific Island region.
