Corrin Collocott joins from Mercer Super

Mercer Super CIO Corrin Collocott has joined IAG in a similar role

Insurance company IAG has appointed Corrin Collocott as Chief Investment Officer (CIO).

Collocott joins from Mercer, where he was CIO of Mercer Super and Multi-Sector, Deputy CIO of Mercer Australia, and was member of the firm’s Pacific Leadership Team.

“We are pleased that Corrin Collocott will be joining IAG in the new role of Chief Investment Officer. Corrin begins on 1 February 2024, and will report directly to our CFO (Chief Financial Officer), William McDonnell,” a spokesperson for IAG told [i3] Insights.

“Corrin brings a wealth of experience to the role, joining us from Mercer where he was Chief Investment Officer, Mercer Super and Multi Sector.”

Collocott originally joined Mercer as part of the merger of BT Super into the Mercer Super Trust and the acquisition of Advance Asset Management.

At Mercer, he was responsible for overseeing the performance of the Mercer Super investment options and other Mercer diversified funds.

Chris Booth, who is Head of Investments at IAG, will report directly to Corrin Collocott, the spokesperson said.
