The [i3] Asset Allocation Forum 2023 was held on 24 and 25 August 2023 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Terrigal, with delegates joining us from across Australia, the Pacific Islands, New Zealand, Singapore, the United States and the United Kingdom.
This year in its 11th iteration, the forum displayed much attention for strategic versus dynamic asset allocation, while we also discussed the impact of recessionary fears, inflation volatility and the inefficacy of the stock/bond correlation portfolios.
We considered crisis scenarios through a fire drill with TCorp and looked at the importance of diversification and risk management as we assessed investment returns.
