Wouter Klijn is Director of Content at the Investment Innovation Institute [i3] and in this capacity he supports the development of agendas for [i3]’s educational programs.
Wouter joined [i3] in January 2016 and established a dedicated publication for the institute, named [i3] Insights. He is responsible for developing, maintaining and populating both the publication and editorial section of the institute’s website. Before joining [i3], he was the Founding Editor of theinstoreport, an online publication for the institutional and superannuation sectors in Australia, which was launched in March 2013.
Until October 2012, he was the Editor of the Morningstar-owned publication Investor Weekly, during which he wrote extensively about the funds management and superannuation industries in Australia. He has also written on financial planning issues for IFA magazine between 2008 and 2010 as a senior journalist.
Wouter started working in finance journalism in 2001, writing about listed companies on the Euronext stock market in Amsterdam, focusing on financials and insurance companies, while also covering the Dutch pension funds and technology companies.
He holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and a postgraduate degree in Journalism, both from the University of Amsterdam
